Common Entrance Test- 2022 for free coaching of Civil Services Examination
(Preliminary & Main) to Scheduled Caste candidates
Online application are invited from the Scheduled Caste candidates ONLY for admission to Free
Coaching of UPSC Civil Services Examination (Preliminary and Main) offered by the Dr. Ambedkar Centre
of Excellence, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University under the scheme of Ministry of Social Justice and
Empowerment, Government of India.
Intake Capacity : 100
Eligibility Criteria for students:
(i) The candidate must hold a graduate degree from a recognized Institution or possess an
equivalent qualification.
(ii) Age limit: As per UPSC Regulation.
(iii) Nationality: Indian Citizen.
(iv) Must be Scheduled Caste candidates only.
(v) The candidate has not received any monetary benefit from any of the other schemes by
Government of India, State/UTs or any funding agencies.
Selection Procedure: Through Common Entrance Test conducted by the Centre as per merit. The
entrance test will be based on 100 MCQs with one mark in each question. The syllabus for the Entrance
test is given below:
(i) General Studies: Indian History, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, General Science
including Science & Technology, Current Affairs, Sports and General Knowledge.
(ii) General English
(iii) Numerical ability and Reasoning.
Reservation for Female Students: 33% of the total sanctioned seat. In case sufficient number of
eligible female candidates does not apply, University may allocate the vacant seats to male/transgender
candidates.
Duration of the Course/Program: One Year.
Note: The candidates enrolled under this scheme have to attend all the classes. In case absent of
remaining absent for more than 15 days without any valid reason, or leaving the coaching class midway

without prior approval of the competent authority, his/her enrolment will be cancelled. The expenditure
incurred by the Ministry on the candidate will be recovered from the student/candidate concerned.
Documents to be attached/uploaded with application form:
1. Scanned one Passport size photo.
2. Scanned Signature of the Applicant.
3. Scanned documents for age proof.
4. Scanned Mark sheets and certificates from matriculate up to highest degree.
5. Scanned copy of Scheduled Caste Certificate.

Note: Admit Card for the Common Entrance Test shall be available on the University portal only and
can be downloaded through login details. The Admit Card will not be available in any other mode.
