2022 LA County Fair Frequently Asked Questions
The theme of this year’s LA County Fair is “Back To Our Roots,” and we can’t wait to celebrate during
our NEW dates May 5-30.
When will tickets for the LA County Fair go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale Jan. 25 at lacountyfair.com. The 2022 Fair will be May 5-30, open Thursdays-
Sundays and Memorial Day.
Do I have to purchase my tickets in advance?
If you want the best price, purchase tickets in advance online. Tickets purchased day of your visit,
whether purchased online or at the gate, will see a price increase.
Will tickets be available at the gate?
Yes, we will have a limited number of ticket booths open at the gate daily. We recommend that you
please purchase your tickets online a minimum of a day in advance for the best price and experience.
The online price increases if you wait until the date of your visit to purchase, however, purchasing on
your phone even at the main gate still offers a lower priced ticket than purchasing at a ticket booth.
I am fully vaccinated. Do I have to wear a mask at the fair or show my vax card/negative test results?
Fairplex follows all Federal, State, and Local guidelines. Please check website and social media for up to
date information
What are the other restrictions?
In addition to our COVID protocols and increased sanitization, we will have more elbow room on the
fairgrounds, distancing will be encouraged and some events will be on hold.
Will you be selling a season pass this year?
Yes. Visit lacountyfair.com for Season Pass options.
Will you offer free or discounted admission days?
The Fair will have Food Drive Fridays on May 6 and May 13. Bring in 5 cans of food for free entry from
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What About Senior Day is there a day Seniors get in free?
There is no specific day for seniors, however there is a discounted ticket for seniors every day at the Fair
available online.
Will Opening Day be free?
Opening day will not be free however, there are special discounted tickets available to the general
public if you visit any local Superior Foods, Ralphs or O’Reily store.
What about City days at the Fair?
Pomona Day is May 5 and La Verne Day is May 6. Residents received a special postcard in the mail that
offers a discount code for their respective city day.
Can military/veterans get a discount or get in for free?
On May 6 there will be a Veterans Expo. Veterans may get into the Fair for a special $10 ticket. Check
with your local veterans’ organization for a discount code.
Will you offer any ride or food promotions?
There will be a $7.70 food menu. Participating food vendors will be available at www.lacountyfair.com
at a later date.
Will you have unlimited ride wristbands or have ride discounts?
The Fair has discontinued the ride wristband program and replaced with a discounted ride package. This
ride package is available at any local Superior Foods along with discounted admission tickets. The ride
package is $40 and allows people to go on up to 12 rides* except Titan, and play up to two games.
Wristbands are still available directly from our ride operator, RCS. There are two kinds, Weekday and
Weekend both available for $50 on the shopping cart at lacountyfair.com.
When will the concert series be announced?
The LA County Fair Concert Series has been announced. Visit lacountyfair.com for a list of acts.
Does my concert ticket include Fair admission?
Yes. Your concert ticket includes admission unless you purchase the concert in Fair on the day of your
concert. Parking is not included.

Is the Fair offering field trips?
The FairKids Field Trip program is on hiatus until 2023. There are other opportunities for youth and
education in 2022. Visit www.lacountyfair.com for more information.

Will someone be scanning my admission ticket at the gate?
Yes, tickets must be presented at the gate to be scanned for admission.
Do I need to present my ID with my season pass?
Yes, every season pass holder ages 16+ must present valid ID that matches the name on their season
pass for entry into the Fair.
I’ve contracted COVID-19 and no longer want to go to the Fair due to fear of getting sick again, am I
eligible for a full refund?
Please stay home if you feel sick or have any symptoms of Covid19. When purchasing tickets online, the
user agrees to no refunds, no exchanges, however, the ticket you purchased is valid multiple days and is
transferable. Season passes are non-transferable.

What are your parking options and pricing?
ADA parking is available at all public lots; and Ride Share is located at Gate 7 on White Avenue.
Parking:
$15 + fee: Advance Online Parking (Day before)
$20: Day of Parking at the Toll Gate
$30 +fee: Advance Online VIP (Day before) limited number
$35: Day of VIP Parking, based on availability
FREE: Bus Parking
$75 +fees: Online Season Parking (only sold online)
Any parking restrictions? (No RVs, etc.)
RV Parking is located in the Main Lot of Gate 17 for $40.
Where can I be dropped off if not looking to park on campus? Rideshare/Uber drop-off location
Ride Share is located at Gate 7 on White Avenue.
Can I bring and use my own sanitizing supplies?
One (1) 6 oz (or less) plastic bottles per person is allowed.
Can I bring a small cooler with outside food and beverages?
A small amount of food and beverage is allowed for medical or dietary reasons.
Will you be hosting a job fair for LACF 2022?
Information will be available at a later date.

How can I find out if my favorite vendor will participate again this year? If they’re not participating,
who can help me get their contact information?
The commercial vendor list will be available on the LA County Fair website by April 5, 2022. If you need
additional information please contact the Commercial Sales office at 909-865-4500.
When will concerts go on sale?
The first slate of concerts go on sale Feb. 7. For a list of concerts, visit lacountyfair.com. Purchase tickets
at ticketmaster.com.
Does my paid concert ticket include admission to the Fair?
Yes, tickets purchased to a concert include Fair admission.
Will there be free tickets available to the concerts?
A limited number of free tickets may be available from the ticket kiosk on Rose Lane on concert days to
the following shows: WAR & El Chicano; KC & The Sunshine Band and Village People; and The Spinners,
The Stylistics, The Manhattans. Concerts subject to change.
