List your favorites in the contact pane on the left side of the application for easy access to
users
and groups you frequently interact with. To add a user to your Favorites, first access the
Directory
icon to the right of your name in the upper lefthand corner (1). Then, select the contact (2)
and
click the star in the upper right-hand corner (3). This will change the star to orange and
the contact
will appear in your Favorites. To remove a user or group, simply unclick the star

You can view a log of recent calls and messages in the Recent History section of the contact
pane
on the left side of the application. If you have missed multiple calls or messages, you will see
a
numerical badge beside the contact. The badge will be cleared once the contact is
opened.

There are a few ways to start a call using the internal softphone. If calling another user
with

your company, simply hover over their name in your Favorites and click the phone icon. If
the
contact is already open, click the phone icon in the upper righthand corner. If

your favorites, click New Call and select the user from your company

rectory.

Chat with other contacts or groups by clicking their name to bring up the chat box. Here, you

see historical messages and send new messages. Add emojis by tapping the emoji icon in
the
message
box.

To send a text message to someone outside your company, click the New Message/SMS
button
above the Contact Panel, input the number and click the message icon
.
GROUPS
Create team, project, or topic groups on the fly by selecting the
New
Group Chat icon above the Contact Pane. Then add a topic
name
that
represents the group, enter an optional description, and
select
the
members you would like to add. Use an @here mention to
not

fy
members of the new group. Click the star to add the group
to
your
Favor
i
tes.
Once you have created or are added to a group, you can chat with others in that group.
Use
@mentions to notify individuals that they have a message in that group. Use @here to

fy
everyone in the
group.

Video calling allows collaboration to be more personal with ad-hoc 1-to-1 calls or calls with

participants. Easily chat and share your screen from within the active

You can change your input and output devices easily by clicking the gear icon in the bottom
menu
bar while in an active meeting. This will allow you to select your microphone,
speakers/headset,
and camera if different from your system defaults. As you begin each meeting, you will be
asked
to confirm or update these
sett

ngs.
Additionally, while in a meeting, you can mute and unmute your microphone and/or video by

ck
i
ng
the audio or video icon on the left side of the bottom menu
bar.

LAUNCHING A CAL

Video calls can be started in a few different ways. The first is by simply clicking the video icon
to
the
right of
the user’s
or
group’s name
within your

if
you are in an active chat or group chat, you can begin a video call by clicking the video icon

upper righthand
corner.
The video call will then be launched and the invitees will receive an invite where they can

‘Join Now’. To end or disconnect from an active call, click the red phone icon in the bottom
menu.

Easily invite others to an active video call by clicking the link button in the bottom menu bar.

Any single participant can share their screen at any point in time. Select the Share Screen icon

To chat with active participants, click the chat icon in the bottom menu bar. This will allow you

share questions and ideas with the entire group, allowing the presenter to continue

REMOVING PARTICIPANTS
View active and past participants by clicking the participants icon in the bottom menu bar.

remove a participant, click the menu icon to the right of their name and select Remove from
Ca

.
