Refunds: Registrations will be fully refunded if canceled in writing on or before Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
Partial refunds are available if canceled in writing on or before Tuesday September 3, 2024.
Regretfully, no refunds are available for cancelations received Wednesday, September 4, 2024 or later.
If the Convention is canceled by the Society due to public health concerns, all Registrations will be fully refunded regardless of date.

One non-member guest is welcome to register for the Convention along with a Society member at member rates.
If you have a guest who might wish to join us for just one to two presentations, they need not register but please provide their
name and we will provide a guest name badge. If a guest wishes to attend a full day, Day Passes will be available for a fee.
If your un-registered guest wishes to join us for any of the provided lunches or dinner, please purchase an additional meal

Queen Mary Hotel Reservations
We encourage you to make reservations early. September is a busy time for visitors to Long Beach and the Los Angeles area.
Please note all reservations must be pre-paid to the Queen Mary the time the reservation is made. We are told room
reservations may be canceled for a full refund up to 48 hours before your check-in date, but please confirm these terms
personally at your time of booking.
We have a block of rooms held for attendees until August 20, 2024 at a special reduced convention rate of $ 199.00 per night.
After that date the Queen Mary will release those rooms for general reservations. Our reduced rate will not be available after
that date and rooms may not be available. Larger suites are available at standard rates. Accessible rooms are available at our
reduced convention rate however please confirm at time of reservations that the room you book meets your specific needs due
to the historic nature of the Queen Mary.

All room rates are subject to the following additional fees:
Historic Preservation Fee: $ 10.95 per night, discounted from standard of $ 18.95 per night
Long Beach Tourism Assessment, California Tourism Assessment, and Occupancy Tax totaling 16.195%
Parking: $10 per car per night, discounted from standard of $ 30 per night. Inquire with Queen Mary for RV rates.
Food, Dining, and Touring on the Queen Mary
The Queen Mary has a variety of food and dining options on board, from casual to more formal. Visit
https://queenmary.com/dining/. You can explore many areas of the ship on your own or guided ship tours are available at
additional cost: https://queenmary.com/tours/tours-exhibits/. Most areas of the ship are accessible with some exceptions
such as the engine room and bridge.
Dining, Shopping, and Attractions in Long Beach
Shopping, dining, and attractions are abundant in Long Beach. Many, including the Aquarium of the Pacific, are about 1-1/2
miles away across the Queensway Bridge. There is a free bus “Passport” service on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays operated
by Long Beach Transit that stops frequently at the Queen Mary. See next page for route and more information.
