This publication helps you determine if the PanelView™ Plus 7 Performance Series B

The PanelView Plus 7 Performance Series B

terminals run a new operating system (Windows® 10 IoT Core LTSC) and feature new hardware as compared to the Series A
(b)
terminal.
There are functional differences between the Series B
(a)
and the Series A
(b)
products that can require application or process changes. This table provides a list of
differences, along with our priorities for remediation and possible workarounds. Additional information about some of these functions also appears on successive pages
within this document.

example, autorun.bat) launches when the operating system starts or a removable media is inserted.
Download Firmware
Firmware can be downloaded over a network connection via ControlFLASH™ or ControlFLASH Plus™ software. For a static IP address, a DHCP server or DHCP capable utility
must be used in order to obtain an IP Address - assigning a Static IP Address manually is not supported. A USB storage device can also be used.
Calibration Menu
According to the Quick Start Guide, new PanelView Plus 7 Performance Series B
(a)
terminals open to the Calibration Menu, but some terminals open to the Maintenance Menu.
In these cases, you must select the Calibration Menu and calibrate the touch screen. The out-of-box experience has been corrected in terminals that are manufactured
after May 2, 2022. Terminals that are manufactured after this date open to the Calibration Menu.
