Dear iVMS and cVOC User,

Adobe has announced that it will “stop distributing and updating Flash Player

after December 31, 2020”. The current versions of iVMS and cVOC requires a

browser with Flash enabled.

This memo serves as notification that Telestream will be releasing new iVMS and

cVOC software before the end of 2020 that removes the need for Flash. The

software updates will only be provided on the most recent releases, iVMS v5.12

and cVOC v3.03. Please work with your Account Team to make sure that all IQ

probes are compatible with these versions of iVMS and cVOC and if not, plan to

have the probes upgraded or replaced.

If your iVMS and cVOC are covered under a Support and Maintenance agreement,

the upgrade will be included as part of the service we provide.

If your iVMS or cVOC is not covered under a Support and Maintenance

agreement, the upgrade will be provided for a cost. Please contact your Account

Manager to obtain a quote.

In the meantime, as a user of iVMS and/or cVOC, you are responsible for

maintaining and preserving a version of your browser that contains FLASH. This

might mean that you must turn off or disable updates so that Flash is not

removed from your browser.
