Lumberjack-Accelerated
Overview
Current Lumberjack Scholars
Currently enrolled in an Accelerated Program
Some Lumberjack Scholarship recipients may enter the
graduate portion of their accelerated program prior to the
8
th
semester of their Lumberjack Scholarship.
In those cases, the NAU Graduate College will provide a
tuition waiver to students for up to 2 semesters as a
graduate student.
Lumberjack-Accelerated Process
Units submit the tuition waiver form to GATW by the
June 15 & November 15 deadlines.
Tuition waivers will not be awarded if the deadline is
missed.
Indicate Lumberjack-Accelerated using only the
newest form.
Students should reach out to their Graduate
Coordinator or Faculty Advisor if they think this
applies.
GATW will verify eligibility of Lumberjack,
Accelerated, and 3 years of Lumberjack Scholarship
& if so, notify the department that the waiver will be
processed.
For Lumberjack Accelerated scholars, these waivers will not come out of
department or college allocations.
Can be used for first 2 semesters of graduate portion of accelerated
program if student does not become a GA or commensurate funding.
Funding is for fall and spring semesters only.
This is not a recruiting tool, rather designed to fix rare inequities.
Once any student moves from undergraduate to graduate program, they
become ineligible for undergraduate funding.
This pertains to the Lumberjack Scholarship Only
All other undergraduate aid will be cancelled as a graduate student- to
confirm aid and awards students may reach out to the Office of
Scholarships & Financial Aid
