2023 at 5:00pm in the Selectman’s Meeting Room of the Town House to discuss the merits
of accepting the following money:

Nice running into you today. As we discussed on the topic of capturing the equivalent of the “tax
credit” for solar on the new FD (or any town buildings or land) the Inflation Reduction act provides
the elective pay method outlined in the link below and the attached p5817d document. Their needs
to be a preregistration as part of the process. This feature of the legislation allows towns to see the
full financial benefit of alternative energy projects rather than giving all this away to private investors
as is the case with Power Purchase lease agreements.

We are interested in offering our expertise in the design and construction of an array for this project
and have not heard from anyone involved for our input. As you know, the participation of local
contractors in projects like this is very good policy.
