What is the Corporate Partnership Tuition Discount Program?
Creighton University (Creighton) is offering exclusive tuition discounts for a wide range of
undergraduate, graduate and professional programs to employees of partner organizations
and the YMCA is a strategic partner. Dependents and spouses of partner employees are also
eligible for certain discounts.
What are the discounts?
25% Tuition Discount on Graduate and Professional Programs
o YMCA employees and their spouses are eligible for 25% off tuition for a variety of
graduate and professional programs. Earn an MBA, pursue a law degree or
choose from a wide range of other fields.
$25,000 Annual Discount for Full-time Undergraduate Students
o YMCA employees, their dependents and their spouses qualify for $25,000 off
undergraduate tuition each year, offering significant savings on degrees in
healthcare, science and more.
How does the program work?
Participation in the program is simple. First, you must be an active YMCA employee and must
have a YMCA email address. This does not apply to contract workers.
Dependents and spouses of active employees are also eligible.
Who qualifies as a dependent?
Dependents are defined using criteria for dependent status for the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):
o Younger than 24 years of age
o Not married
o Enrolled in an undergraduate program
o Not a veteran, a member of the armed forces, an orphan, emancipated minor,
ward of the court or someone who is at risk of becoming homeless
o No legal dependents of their own
My dependent child is currently a Creighton student. Can I get the discount?
Yes, if you work for a partner organization, your dependent child is eligible for
discounted tuition. To apply the discount, please contact Creighton. Note that partner
organization tuition reductions cannot be combined with other general merit
scholarships that a student may be awarded. The student will receive the higher of the
two offers.
How is the discount administered?
The discount will automatically be applied and appear on your statement as a credit. In
order to receive the discount, you must fill out the partner employee discount form and
also be accepted into your chosen school or college:

Does Creighton offer an in-state tuition?
No Creighton tuition does not vary based on in-state/out-of-state tuition.
How does this work with the FAFSA?
All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) to qualify for additional aid to offset expenses beyond tuition. The FAFSA can
be filed any time after October 1 for the next school year. Creighton's school code
number is 002542.
*YMCA tuition reductions can’t be combined with other general merit scholarships. The
student will receive the higher of the two offers.
What if you start YMCA employment after already being enrolled at Creighton?
The benefit would apply to the next semester’s tuition. In the application process, there is this

Are there requirements for maintaining eligibility?
A student must be in good standing with Creighton and remain an active employee at a
YMCA (or maintain a qualifying relationship with an active employee of the YMCA) to
remain eligible.
What happens when employment is terminated at the YMCA?
If an active employee receiving this tuition benefit is terminated, you can expect that
Creighton will no longer honor the tuition discount beginning with the next semester.
Does this apply to seasonal staff?
This benefit applies to seasonal staff if they continue to work as an active
employee throughout the year.
